Loving Students to Life

The teenage years are when a lot of kids either find a faith that's actually theirs, or quietly walk away from the one they were handed. GO Youth exists to make sure your student has a place, and people, that make the first one true.

Why It Matters

These Years Only Happen Once

Middle and high school are when your student is figuring out who they are, whether faith is real, and who they can trust with the questions they're afraid to ask out loud. You can't be in every room they walk into. What you can do is make sure the room they're in on a Wednesday night is full of adults who care about them and friends who are chasing the same thing they are.

That's what GO Youth is for.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A Place Students Actually Want to Show Up To

R

Teaching That Doesn't Talk Down to Them

Our students hear real talk about real stuff, doubt, identity, pressure, relationships, not a watered-down version of church built for someone half their age. They leave with answers, not a lecture.

R

Leaders Who Show Up Outside of Sunday

Small group leaders text back. They come to games and recitals. They remember what your student is going through, so church isn't just an hour a week, it's a relationship.

R

Events Students Actually Invite Their Friends To

From Summer Camps, Fall Retreat, to GO Missions Trips, GO Youth gives students something worth bringing a friend to, not just a program to sit through.

A Safe Place, No Matter What They're Carrying

Safety Isn't Just a Policy Here

Background-Checked Leaders

Every small group leader and volunteer is background-checked and trained before they ever lead a student.

No Dumb Questions

Doubt, hard family situations, mental health, we'd rather your student ask it here than nowhere at all.

Coordinator Oversight

A GO Youth coordinator is present and engaged at every gathering, every week.

We Loop You In

You'll always know what your student is learning and what's coming up. No surprises.

Getting Plugged In

How It Works

01

Show Up on a Wednesday Night
No sign-up required to try it out. Just bring your student and come see what it's like.

02

  1. Get Connected to a Small Group — This is where the real relationships happen, a few students and a leader who's actually in their corner.

03

Stay in the Loop — We'll email you and your student about what's next, camps, trips, and the regular weekly rhythm.

Good to Know

Questions Parents Ask Us All the Time

Does my student need to sign up before showing up?

No. The first visit is come-as-you-are. We'll get them connected once they're ready.

What if my student doesn't know anyone?

That's most students the first time. Our leaders make sure every new face gets introduced into a group, not left standing on the side.

Is this just games and pizza, or is there real teaching?

Both. We believe students engage best when they're having fun and known by name, but every night is built around a real, honest teaching, not just a hangout.

Can my student get baptized or serve on a team through GO Youth?

Yes. Baptism and serving opportunities are open to students, and our leaders walk with them through both when they're ready.

Is GO Youth just for students whose families already attend GO Church?

No. Plenty of our students found GO Youth before their families ever set foot in a Sunday Gathering.
